Flotsam & Jetsam

It is your responsibilty to ensure that your luggage is in the place at the right time.

Luggage

As La Beale Isoud and Tillum are working pirate ships, their capacity to carry luggage is restriced, and all pirates are limited to a carry on day pack that contains items essential for the sea-borne portion of your pirate adventure. Your day pack should contain items such as a warm jacket, sun hat, beach clothing, sunscreen, and personal medications. For pirates sailing from Canoe Cove to the Pirate's Lair, you are encouraged to pack a small cooler or bag with a picnic-style supper, beverages, and nonbreakable utensils.

If you are sailing to or from the Pirate's Lair, you are entitled to have your bedding and luggage transported by the jolly boat (courtesy van) in advance. Each pirate may bring tightly packaged bedding, and a reasonable amount of luggage. Please bring toothpaste, toothbrush, towels, soap, shampoo, other toiletries and your sleeping bag and pillow. All luggage and bedding must be clearly labeled with your name and phone number, and securely fastened to prevent it from exploding like a cheap four-pounder cannon. The capacity to ship luggage is limited; please use common sense and consideration.

Fragile items and electronics should be placed in a waterproof container or wrapped in plastic, and placed in the center of your luggage surrounded by soft items.

Luggage drop-off

Your kit bag - what to bring

Please bring toothpaste, toothbrush, towels, soap, shampoo, other toiletries, a bathing suit, pillows, sleeping bags or blankets. Remember to bring enough clothing for the weekend, as laundry facilities are not available at Pirate's Lair.

Foam to sleep on in the tent would be a wise item to pack. Unless, of course, you are a serious masochist. Although tents are provided, we can always use more; please email "First Mate Fish":mailto:ladyfish@sagacitygroup.net if you are able to bring one.

While at Pirate's Lair, styrofoam and plastic cups are provided. If you prefer to drink from a proper cup or mug, please bring your own and be prepared to wash it yourself or have your slave wash it for you.

If you wish to indulge, please bring your own grog. There is a very small liquor outlet on Galiano, but it has limited hours of operation and limited stock. It is a 30-minute walk/10-minute drive from the Lair and transportation is not provided.

Don't forget to bring any implements of torture you might want to play with, but remember, space is limited so please try to pack as lightly and as compactly as possible. The transportation of large or bulky toys such as spanking benches is not included in the luggage service.

NOTE: Antibacterial products are not allowed, as they will interfere with the proper operation of the septic system that serves the cabin. These products must not be used, so please leave them at home.
