Bondage 101 hits the press

In
October of 2003, Sagacity was asked to conduct a Bondage 101 workshop at
UVic.
The resultant media attention came as a surprise; news feeds from across Canada and the United States, including four from British Columbia. |

The
writing styles and viewpoints of the authors varied greatly; some were
relatively good examples of journalism, while others were just plain
nasty soapbox rants.
Between October 15 - 20, articles were run on; The Calgary Herald, The Times Colonist, The Vancouver Sun, The Province, The National Post, The American Daily, GOPUSA, WorldnetDaily, Axcess Business News, Canoe News, Canadaeast, CP News, and radio station CKNW. Just when we thought the media attention was over , the Associated Press broke the story at 11 am PST on October 20, and the news wires went crazy. We stopped counting at 80 separate media sites, radio, and television stations that carried the story. The 21st of October brought even more news coverage, and with an onscene reporter taking part in the workshop, the next few days were sure to be wild. When the smoke had all settled, the amount of media attention was amazing, as was the wide range of places that ran the stories. Here's a partial list:
