Retreat 2007

Sagacity finally treats the Core

to a weekend away on February 23-25, 2007! We will laugh, play, and maybe even do some brainstorming and organising!

The scoop:

Accomodation

*We will be staying at the Bodega Resort on Galiano Island. The cost is $50 per person (including non-Core guests). We're off to the site of our 2006 and 2007 Pirate Adventure.

Schedule

*We will check in Friday afternoon (Feb. 23) and depart Sunday (Feb. 25) afternoon. You can find the Galiano ferry schedule here (Victoria) (Vancouver). I suspect the Fishes will be going over on the 3:25 ferry Friday and returning on the 11:20 on Sunday.

*The Brainstorming Session is scheduled on Saturday from 11:00-1:00 and 2:00-5:00. Please visit the Agenda and add any topics that you would like discussed during the session. Sagacity will provide paper and pencils for scribbling and note-taking. We'll decide on which cabin(s) will be used for the meetings once we get there and check them out!

Logistics

*Sagacity will provide ferry tickets to Galiano. We will also cover the cost of travel expenses (gas, ferry) for any of our members that don't live in Victoria.

*Everyone will be responsible for their own food/snacks/drinks.

*Sagacity will provide chicken breasts for our Potluck Supper on Saturday night.

*Everyone is responsible for providing a dish to share at the Potluck Supper on Saturday night. Please tell us what you're bringing!

*There should still be lots of fun time for enjoying the outdoors, socializing, and play. The dress is casual/comfortable and toys will certainly be welcome! Friday night will be perfect for simply relaxing, snacking, sipping a beverage or two, and who knows what else?!
