The Navigator is responsible for charting the safe course that is required to sail the ship to the destination the Captain has chosen. Besides ensuring that the ship does not hit anything, founder and sink, the Navigator is responsible for ensuring the ship arrives and departs at the right time. | ![]() |
| The Navigator's job is challenging, and he must consider the effects of wind, current and tide when determining when the ship should sail. The waters La Beale Isoud will be sailing in are some of the most treacherous in the world, and the Navigator's precise schedule must be followed to ensure ample water under the keel at all times. | ||
| As La Beale Isoud is sought by the
authorities, the Captain has directed the Navigator to chart a course
that will throw off the hounds of justice, leaving him free to wreak
havoc with his merry band of scurvy crew. The Navigator has used all of
his talents to create a sail plan and timetable that must be followed
to keep our necks out of the jailer's noose...

The Steward and cook present snacks for the hungry hordes. General

Slave auction commences. Please contact the Mate during the
afternoon to convert your landlubber currency into negotiable currency.
Under the direction of the Surgeon, the Cook's assistant prepares a
pot of caffeine-laden restorative for survivors of last night's
party. As the carpenter was last seen singing bawdy songs in
Sturdies Bay, he did not light the fire to heat the water for the
showers.... brrrrrr
