BDSM - Alternative Loving is a comprehensive documentary film about the lifestyles of SM and D/s relationships. Narrated by Angela Bowie, author of "Backstage Passes." It features interviews with noted authors, Dr. Gloria Brame and William Brame who wrote "Different Loving" and Viola Johnson, who wrote "To Love, To Obey, To Serve". The 95 minute show includes the history and background of SM from the Marquis de Sade to The Story of O with explanations of the lifestyles of Dominants and submissives and their relationships. It covers the areas of consensuality and safety in SM and why it is not abusive. SM play activities are shown, including bondage, spanking, flogging, whipping and suspension.
