Sagacity's chat room is open 24/7 for you and your kinky friends to keep in touch and meet new people. In addition, we have a moderated chat on a fun topic on Monday nights starting at 8.30 pm PST.
Rules of chat:
1. The owners of bondage.com that so kindly provide the usage of their irc servers to us request that anyone connecting to their IRC be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in the laws applicable to them. Sagacity will not be held responsible for any deception on your part in regards to this.
2. When you click on the chat link you will be prompted to load a Java chat client called PJIRC. Don't be alarmed, nobody is trying to hack you. Just click on the RUN button or chat will not operate properly.
If you click to join the chat and you don't get a popup and just a blank page you probably don't have the Java Runtime Evironment plugin for your operating system. This is not just a Sagacity thing, Java is used quite frequently on the internet and would be a useful plugin to get in any case. You can download it here.
3. When you first enter the chat room your nickname will be Anonymous. Please change this right away! If you do not you will most likely be removed from the chat room. As you can imagine, having a bunch of anonymous people hanging around in the chat room while sensitive sexual topics are being discussed is simply not appropriate. Please select a comfortable nickname for yourself then spend a few moments introducing yourself and everyone will feel much better. Just like in real life eh?
4. Don't be a jackass.
5. If asked to stop being a jackass by a chat room operator, compliance will not be optional.
Chat room operators can be identified by an @ symbol next to their name. They are knowledgable about both Sagacity and IRC and will assist you if asked.
For those of you that prefer to use chat clients like mIRC or Perch the server settings are:
server: irc.bondage.com
ports: 6660 to 6668 whichever you prefer, most chat clients defaut to 6660 and thats fine
