Great Pirate Adventure Details

Tickets

Tickets will be available only through Sagacity, and must be reserved through the purser. She will part you from your gold, and provide you with the details of the trip. Please do not ask about other members of the crew, as secrecy is a requirement for signing on.

Dates

Pirates will rendezvous at the Galiano ferry dock at the Swartz Bay on Friday, August 25th at 10:30 or 6:05, be met by the jollyboat on the Galiano side, and transported by the hearty crew to the Pirates' Lair. They will spend Friday and Saturday nights at the Lair, and will be returned by shuttle on Sunday, August 27th to catch the 12:10 AM ferry back to Swartz Bay ferry terminal.

Transportation

Pirates will be responsible to render themselves to the Galiano ferry dock at Swartz Bay in time to catch one of the ferries mentioned above. They will be provided with a ferry ticket for a foot passenger and will not have to pay to travel to the island or back. They will be transported to the Pirates' Lair by shuttle and will be returned to the ferry on Sunday. Pirates are responsible for their own parking arrangements at the terminal. Pirates with prior approval to bring vehicles to Galiano are responsible for the cost of transporting their vehicle.

Location

The Pirates of Sagacity have commandeered the Bodega Resort, a lovely venue on the west end of Galiano Island is one of the Southern Gulf Islands, situated a few nautical miles from Victoria and Vancouver. (see the Pirate Map)

Venue

The new lair has capacious grounds, and will hold 58 pirates in tents and 42 pirates in spacious chalets. Please follow the Laws of the Lair while you are with the crew.

The grand hall will be fitted out as a dungeon with all of Sagacity's famous play equipment, where miscreants will be punished for the entertainment of lounging pirates. There are washroom facilities available in the grand hall.

Price

Camping pirates will pay $95 per head, and will most likely share a tent with at least one other matey. The pirate purser is in need of tents, so please offer if you have one.

Pirates in chalets will pay $175 per person, and must share their room another person.
