Sir Scott
SIR SCOTT BRYEN has served two, 2-year terms as executive of Northern Chaps and has been awarded lifetime member status for his service to the community. He is also a co-founder of the Mr. Edmonton Leather Contest and co-produced the contest in 2001, 2002, and 2005. He won the Mr. Edmonton Leather 2003 title and competed at IML in 2004. Sir Scott has judged the Mr. Leatherman Toronto contest, Mr. Calgary Leather contest (5 years), Mr. BC Leather contest, and served as Tally Master of the Washington Leather title. He also helped establish the Tops-to-Bottoms Workshop Weekend. He has been nominated for Man of the Year and the Canadian award for the Pantheon of Leather and has received the Northern Chaps community service award as well as the Michael Phair award for community service. He is a current member of the community liaison committee for the Edmonton Police representing the GLBTQ community and has participated in the organization of several of Edmonton's Pride festivals.
Sir Scott is a frequent contributor to Times.10 and the Northern Sash, writing the "View from the Top" column for several years. He has spoken to various local groups in Edmonton regarding the Leather lifestyle and has presented several workshops for EOS, Northern Chaps, Lupercalia festival, MLTC and other interested groups in the province of Alberta and across Canada.
Sir Scott lives in Edmonton, Alberta with his partner of 25+ years and the boys.
