8:45 AM–10:45 AM—Hands-On Rope Bondage

Rope bondage can be simple, elegant, effective and sensual, but if you don't know how to do it right, it can be dangerous. Midori will teach you how to use this versatile bondage tool to maximize fun and minimize risks. Learn basic techniques including two-column restraint, body harnesses and creative positions. Midori is the author of The Seductive Art of Japanese Bondage, and is an expert in safe and effective Japanese inspired rope bondage. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a minimum of 2 lengths of 15 feet and 2 of 25 feet of rope.

Appropriate experience level: No experience necessary.

11:00 AM–1:00 PM—Beyond Twisted: Kink Outside the Box

Ever feel boxed in by the definition and expectations of kinky sex? Find yourself dissatisfied with scenes or frustrated at not having your desire accepted? Want to figure out how to create a multi-person scene with everyone happy? You're not alone! Ever notice the expectation that a sadist must of course be a dominant and a submissive must of course be a masochist? Is this right? Wrong! Come along as Midori explodes the standard definitions of kink roles and expands the idea of what kink is all about. In "Beyond Twisted," she maps out a fine-tuned and flexible framework that anyone can use to help describe their deviant desires. And as we all know, that's the first step to fulfilling them! This is a class for those who don't quite fit into the standard boxes...and for anyone who's curious about their own possibly untapped potential!

Appropriate experience level: A class for the curious beginner as well as the advanced, experienced player.

Leather relationships don't come with guaranteed operating manuals. Often we just stumble along, attempting to make it work. We may try to superimpose the structures of others' apparently successful relationships, or the models presented in fiction. Unfortunately, this doesn't take into consideration our own, and our partner's, needs, visions, and goals. To address this problem, join this interactive class designed to help D/s - M/s individuals, leather families as well as the curious to find their own relationship archetypes. We'll begin to diagram the expectations, boundaries, goals, etc. for your current and future relationships. This can lead to information necessary in creating protocols and fleshing out the details of daily interactions. Individuals, couples, and groups are all welcome. No experience in D/s necessary. Be prepared to do some hard work now to help reduce heartaches down the road! Great for those who are very experienced to totally new and just curious.

Improve your flogging skills! Whether you're a total novice or a good flogging top there's something for you. You'll learn about the details of techniques, strokes, proper flogger selection for your body type. You'll be put through intensive drills. Learn how to deliver power, effective sensation and desired effect without fatigue. Bring your floggers. More the merrier so you can learn better on a wide range of floggers.

Appropriate experience level: This class is mostly aimed toward an audience with some flogging experience.
